will be performing a one-hour chillout set at 8pm on January 19th,
as part of the Intimate and Electronic evening for the
Wintersong Festival 2024. It looks to be a fun rave-throwback
multi-media event. There may be glowsticks!

Drone Day founder Marie Claire LeBlanc Flanigan has proclaimed Saturday May 30th 2020 as the date for the Seventh annual National Drone Day. dreamSTATE have performed live for every Drone Day but this year, like most other artists, they will be playing via the internet at Twitch.tv/AMBiENTPiNG.

dreamSTATE will be performing two sets outdoors at 7pm ET on Saturday May 30th in high-quality stereo sound with General Chaos and other visuals plus the live-outside cameras at Twitch.tv/AMBiENTPiNG.

Between sets will be the premiere of a new drone music video by Dirty Inputs (audio/visual artist Aaron Dawson) and a new drone video from Sara Wray Enns of Victoria, BC. Her piece Flushing is composed of both vocals and field recordings, and is a follow up to an installation piece from last summer.

Once upon a time, long ago, before even THE AMBiENT PiNG was born, Planet Of The Loops achieved earth orbit and colourful sonic auroras began to fill the night skies of Toronto on a regular basis. Founded and led by Andrew Aldridge, the rotating crew of loopers from the Planet spun hours of delicious looping improvisations and always with large helpings of ambience.

A migration from the Planet to the PiNG was a natural flow and all the earliest PiNG performers were Planetary Crew. The PiNG (then weekly) soon began hosting Planet Of The Loops on a monthly basis and their orbital paths were entwined for many years.

For the THE AMBiENT PING's 20th Anniversary show, the Planet was invited back for a night of looping improvisations with a veteran POTL crew selected from the PiNG's 1st year of performances:
